Celebrating The Little Black Dress!

Celebrating The Little Black Dress! Posted on February 18, 2016Leave a comment

Hello everyone! Welcome back to the blog.

Girls, our love for a little black dress is endless and this post in collaboration with Fashion Anthem is to celebrate that love. This time up we’ve paired our black dresses in two totally opposite ways. We think that a black dress is not only limited to parties or fancy dinners but can also be put to great use during those days when you just want to relax and have fun but don’t want to give up on the fashion quotient either.

Nikkita, from Fashion Anthem has paired her black tee shirt dress with a beautiful pair of black boots with gold detailing on it and the perfect flannel shirt that she chose to tie around her waist. This look is very relaxed and comfortable. It is perfect for Sunday brunches or a day at the mall, shopping! To keep in with the relaxed and cool vibe she chose to tie her hair in a loose bun. The sling bag and sunnies completed the whole look.

I chose to take things to a different level and paired my black dress with a beautiful pink colored maxi skirt that I got recently from Sarojini Nagar. I added a bright pink stole and cinched it at the waist with a brown belt. Now, I usually don’t do too many accessories but I experimented this time and wore two silver necklaces together along with some silver jhumkis and a multi colored bracelet.  I must say that I was pretty happy with the end result and wearing a lot of jewelry didn’t seem to be so tiring as I thought it would be. I used a camera bag instead of a regular one and trust me it can do wonders! This look is perfect for when you’re travelling and want to be comfortable but don’t want to give up on style either!
