Hey, guys! How are you all?

I was browsing my closet the other day to look for inspiration for my next post when I came across my kimono. It was then that I realized that kimonos haven’t been experimented with by anyone. So, I decided that today I’ll be sharing a completely different look with you all.

I know that most of us just wear our kimonos over a tank top paired with jeans/shorts. That’s pretty much how everyone wears it and it looks good but ever wondered how it would look if we wore it as a dress? Yes. You read it right.

I wore my kimono as  a dress
but because it was on the shorter side, I wore a skirt underneath. I’m a sucker for details and that is exactly why I bought this kimono. It has beautiful embroidery on the sleeves and white fringes at the bottom. I’m someone who buys clothes with pretty details on it or something which looks different than the rest. The idea behind this is that styling such clothes is easier than styling clothes which everyone else is wearing without looking the same!

I’ve applied the same idea in this outfit. I’ve styled it by adding white sneakers, a white watch and a matching white choker(which is a DIY). I’ve also added striped socks and I’m pretty happy with result. Here’s how it looks –
