Hey, guys, How are you all?
Does the concept of mixing print-on-print scare you? Well, it scared me for a very long time but I did want to give it a shot. Today I’ve come up with a brilliant hack to ace the print-on-print trend. Every time when you start experimenting/trying a new trend, don’t go over-the-top. I mean that’s my advice.
The trick is to mix similar looking prints in the same color family. The crop top that I am wearing was a gift that I received on my birthday. The pair of shorts that I’ve paired it with were bought months after my birthday. So I didn’t really get these items together but coincidentally they share a very similar print and belong to the family of different shades of blue(again very similar). Mixing prints has been on my mind since a really long time. I tried it at Amazon India Fashion Week too(see here) and honestly, I’m really liking it so far!
The clothes are printed throughout but the prints are on a smaller scale with various hues of blues and a little hint of green and yellow. They have diagonal stripes on them with a generous amount of white to balance it all. Since there are a lot of print on the clothes so I decided to keep the accessories minimal.
I added these gorgeous shoes from Mod Squad, an online website, which promises to deliver high quality and well-fitted shoes at very affordable prices (ranging from INR 799-1499). You all know that I like fashion which is affordable and this store is now listed as one of my favorite! The fit is fabulous and the quality is just as great. A pair of studded sunglasses , minimal bracelets, and the cutest backpack ever complete my look.
Lots of talking here. Let’s get on to it.
