Wearing ethnic Indian clothing is pure joy but when the winter kicks in that joy is replaced with the fear of catching a cold or looking like a complete mess because of the crazy layers. I’ve been scared of wearing ethnic in winters for years now but after lots of experiments, I’ve finally gathered the courage to do so and that too in style.
Today’s post is a very simple outfit idea for all of you who aren’t too much into experimentation but would love to carry ethnic wear in winters. I’ve paired a black, lace-up bodysuit with a black maxi skirt. To keep myself warm, I wore a black body warmer set underneath my clothes. This way it won’t look like you’re wearing a lot of layers but you won’t be freezing in the cold either.
Since this is a very simple look, I’ve kept the accessories minimal. Just a plain nath and a colorful earring was all I needed. Added color to my outfit with a warm banarasi dupatta and wore my boots to keep myself extra warm!
Bodysuit – H&M , Skirt – Sarojini Nagar , Banarasi Dupatta – Some Instagram store, Boots – Forever 21, Body Warmers from – Bodycare
This outfit is best suited for simple daytime functions or for when you just feel like wearing indo-western clothes. Wearing body warmers is the best thing ever.
